Woodlea Manor is comprised of 467 single-family homes established in 1989 and is located in the Town of Leesburg. Quarter-acre lots and mature trees distinguish Woodlea from other neighborhoods in town. This community features an outdoor swimming pool and adjoining clubhouse, a tot lot, and outdoor tennis courts. The pool is home to the Woodlea Watermocs summer swim team.
The neighborhood is accessed from South King Street (Route 15) and is located between the southern Town boundary line and the community of Greenway Farm. To the rear of the community is the Woodlea Hills subdivision, whose residents share the amenities of Woodlea Manor.
A widening project along South King Street includes a paved multi-use trail along the west side of the road which connects Woodlea Manor to downtown. Commuters from this neighborhood enjoy immediate access to the Leesburg Bypass and Dulles Greenway.
The community is close to the Leesburg Animal Park, Oatlands historic house and gardens, Greenway Park (a Town park with nature trails and picnic tables as well as a playground and basketball court), and the Westpark Golf Club. Historic Downtown Leesburg and its abundant shops, services, and dining are a two-mile (or so) walk away.
