Tavistock Farms is a community of over 500 single-family and town homes developed in the early 1990's and located in south east Leesburg. The neighborhood is bounded by Sycolin Road, Battlefield Parkway, and the Kincaid Forest community. Additional mixed-use development is planned south of the neighborhood, which may eventually connect Tavistock Farms to the still incomplete Crosstrail Boulevard and beyond.
This community has an outdoor pool, home to the Tavistock Tsunamis summer swim team, as well as tennis courts, sidewalks and walking trails. The community Farmhouse is available for private events.
Tuscarora Creek Park, a town park with a pavilion and playground, is nearby off of Battlefield Parkway and Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park, with its sports fields and walking trails, is around the corner via Sycolin Road. Commuters from Tavistock Farms enjoy seamless access to and from the Dulles Greenway, and the Leesburg Park and Ride lot is located nearby. Leesburg Executive Airport is a short two-mile drive from the heart of the neighborhood.
