Stratford, or East Stratford as the HOA is named, is a community in south east Leesburg located adjacent to the Dulles Greenway, Route 7 Bypass, and Sycolin Parkway.
The East Stratford HOA amenities include an outdoor pool, home to the Stratford Sea Otters summer swim team, clubhouse, tennis courts, and a playground.
Adjacent to Stratford is Oaklawn, a larger mixed-use space which already includes a child care center and a bank, and will continue to be developed to feature retail space, restaurants, a hotel, offices, and additional services.
Tuscarora Creek Park, a town park with a pavilion and playground, is nearby off of Battlefield Parkway and Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park, with its sports fields and walking trails, is around the corner via Sycolin Road.
Commuters from Stratford enjoy direct access to and from the Dulles Greenway, and the Leesburg Park and Ride lot is located nearby. Leesburg Executive Airport is a short two-mile drive from the heart of the neighborhood. The Sycolin Road Bridge, once completed, will make the drive to town a dream, with easy access via Sycolin Road into the heart of Leesburg.
