Virginia Knolls is a community of 140 town homes built in the 1960's. The neighborhood is adjacent to Tuscarora Creek and Harrison Street in SE Leesburg.
The Virginia Knolls HOA does not offer some of the typical amenities or common areas. However, there are abundant town parklands, pools, tennis courts, and walking trails also within the Town limits. The community is backed by Tuscarora Creek and Brandon Park, and is nearby to both the Washington and Old Dominion Trail.
Located inside the Leesburg Bypass , a quick trip down Harrison Street or Sycolin Road allows quick access to shopping and businesses along Catoctin Circle or Market Street, and downtown historic Leesburg. It is a one-block walk to the Virginia Regional Transit bus stop which carries commuters within the Town of Leesburg and to greater Loudoun County and beyond, as well as to the Leesburg Executive Airport. The Sycolin Road Bridge, once completed, will make commuting to points east a dream, with easy access to Route 7 and the Dulles Greenway, or a quick ride via Sycolin Road into the heart of Ashburn.
